Stampin' Up Merry Christmas to All & Swirly Snowflakes
Hello Crafty Friends!
I love making Christmas Cards! I am a bit behind on birthday cards but can not resist making Christmas cards so, to fulfill my need I created this quick and simple Christmas card. I cased a layout I saw recently on Jessica Frost-Ballas' blog. I loved the elegant simplicity of it. I started my card by blending Night of Navy and Balmy Blue ink on a Whisper White card base using a Stamping Sponge. I masked the card base at the fold to prevent ink from getting on the back of the card. Once the ink was good and dry I splattered the front with some of the new Frost White Shimmer Paint. I really love the new shimmer paint. There are so many things you can do with it. While I waited for the shimmer paint to dry I die cut the snowflake border from the Swirly Snowflake framelits out of Sparkle Glimmer Paper and Silver Foil. I also the Holiday die from the Merry Christmas to All bundle from Silver Foil. After the shimmer paint dried I put the card base in my Stamparatus and lined up all of my die cut pieces on the card front so I could determine the placement for the Happy stamp. I heat embossed the Happy sentiment with white embossing powder. I glued all of my die cuts on the card base then finished it off with a tiny silver sequin over the I of the Holiday die cut. That was it, super quick and easy.
