Stampin' Up Thank you Thinlits - Masculine Thank you Card
Hello Crafty Friends!
I was in need of a masculine thank you card and needed it quick. Anyone who knows me knows I do not make cards quickly. I was so proud of myself with this card. I thought through the design and constructed it all in under 10 minutes and love the final result.
I started by die cutting the Thank You Thinlit from white craft foam. I love using craft foam because it gives wonderful dimension and does not add much weight for mailing. I cut a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack to A2 size and put it in my Stamparatus so I could easily layout exactly where I wanted to stamp the branch from the Petal Palette Stamp Set in relation to the the Thank You die cut . I stamped the branches with Whisper White Craft Stampin' Pad then splattered the panel with Whisper White Craft Stampin' Ink Refill and an Aqua Painter. I used the Heat Tool on low to ensure the all the craft ink was good and dry then glued my Thank You die cut angled and centered on the completed panel.

Stampin' Up Merry Christmas to All & Swirly Snowflakes
Hello Crafty Friends!
I love making Christmas Cards! I am a bit behind on birthday cards but can not resist making Christmas cards so, to fulfill my need I created this quick and simple Christmas card. I cased a layout I saw recently on Jessica Frost-Ballas' blog. I loved the elegant simplicity of it. I started my card by blending Night of Navy and Balmy Blue ink on a Whisper White card base using a Stamping Sponge. I masked the card base at the fold to prevent ink from getting on the back of the card. Once the ink was good and dry I splattered the front with some of the new Frost White Shimmer Paint. I really love the new shimmer paint. There are so many things you can do with it. While I waited for the shimmer paint to dry I die cut the snowflake border from the Swirly Snowflake framelits out of Sparkle Glimmer Paper and Silver Foil. I also the Holiday die from the Merry Christmas to All bundle from Silver Foil. After the shimmer paint dried I put the card base in my Stamparatus and lined up all of my die cut pieces on the card front so I could determine the placement for the Happy stamp. I heat embossed the Happy sentiment with white embossing powder. I glued all of my die cuts on the card base then finished it off with a tiny silver sequin over the I of the Holiday die cut. That was it, super quick and easy.
