Celebrate Stampin' Up Daisy Delight

Stampin Up Daisy Delight

I love word dies!  The Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration Celebrate You Thinlit Dies are fantastic!  I particularly like the Celebrate die.  I paired it with daisies from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set and love the results.  I think it it is both festive and elegant.

I started my card by cutting a 4 x 5.25 piece of Whisper White Cardstock then dry embossed it with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  I wiped my Embossing Buddy across the entire embossed layer then flicked water on half the layer with a clean wet paintbrush then sprinkled gold embossing powder on the wet spots and heat embossed it. I repeated the process for the other half.  I stamped four daisy images and several leaves from the stamp set with Versamark ink on vellum cardstock then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I watercolored the embossed daisies then punched them out with the daisy punch.  I layered two daisies together with a little glue then arranged all the pieces around the Celebrate gold foil die cut.  I embellished with gold thread and metallic sequins then popped the completed layer up on a thick whisper white A2 card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.   I think it turned out both festive and elegant.
