Stampin' Up Watercolored Lemon Zest and Lemon Builder Punch

Stampin Up Lemon Zest

Hello crafty friends!
My card today features the Stampin' Up Lemon Zest stamp set and Lemon Builder punch. I love this set.  The images are perfect for creating a watercolor effect with minimal effort.

I started by randomly stamping several of the lemon slice and leaf images on watercolor paper.  I also stamped a few lemon slice, leaf and full lemon images on a separate piece of watercolor paper so I could use the Lemon Builder punch to cut them out.  I then used my Aqua Painter to lightly go over all of the images giving me that soft watercolor effect and splattered some of the Granny Apple Green in on the background.  I punched out the images that I stamped separately before I went over them with the Aqua painter so I could move the color to the edges.

While the images were drying I stamped one of the jars from the  Jar of Love stamp set on Vellum Cardstock with Versamark ink then and heat embossed it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  I used the Stamparatus to line up my sentiment on the jar then stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder as well.  I die cut the final stamped image using the Everyday Jars Framelits.

I trimmed a small strip of the Brights DSP Granny Apple Green striped cardstock on the diagonal and scored it a few times to create the bendy straw.  I also cut a few strips of the dotted Granny Apple Green paper and added it to my card base on each side.  I trimmed my watercolored panel  and added it to my card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I added all of my cut pieces and finished off with a few clear sequins from my stash.

Stampin' Up Blended Seasons Christmas

Stampin Up Blended Seasons

Hello crafty friends!
I am loving the Blended Seasons bundle!  For this card I stamped vertical borders of the holly swag stamp along the edges of my card base in Old Olive.  I colored them using Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Real Red watercolor pencils.  When I finished coloring I lightly brushed over the coloring with my Aqua Painter.  When my watercoloring dried I added a bit of dimension to each berry with the Fine-tip Glue Pen and set it aside to dry while I worked on the rest of the card.  I cut a trip of plaid from the Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper for the center of the card. I cut a few pine sprigs and berries from the Pretty Pines Thinlits to add to the oval I die cut from the Wood Textures DSP using the Stitched Shape Framelits.  I stamped the oval with a sentiment from the Christmas Pines Stamp set in Sahara Sand. I wrapped the oval and pine sprays with Linen Tread then layered them together.  I created a faux ribbon out of a scrap piece of Real Red cardstock that I embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder and layered it under my main oval focal piece.

Stampin' Up Blended Seasons Wedding Bells

Stampin Up Blended Seasons
Hello crafty friends!
I am back with more from the Stampin' Up Blended Seasons Bundle.  I really wanted to make cards using each of the images in the set.  As soon as I saw the bells they reminded me of vintage wedding cards so, a wedding card it is.  This card was quick and easy.  I started by stamping the bell twice on Whisper White cardstock using Versamark ink then heat embossed it with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder.   I fussy cut the 2 bells then used a blender pen and the Balmy Blue Stampin' pad to color the ribbons on the bells.  I added the smallest silver sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment to the clapper on each bell for a tiny bit of bling.  I cut 2 panels of Balmy Blue cardstock and a small layer of silver foil.  I die cut each of the panels with the frame dies from the Stitched Seasons Framelits then layered them together.   Before I wrapped my stacked layer with the Silver Baker's twine I laid it on top of my Whisper White card base and lightly traced the area where I wanted my sentiment.  I put my card base with the tracing in my Stamparatus so I could neatly line up my sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink then heat embossed it with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder.  When the embossing cooled, I gently erased my trace marks.  I added my twine wrapped layer to my card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Finally, I added the bells using Stampin' Dimensionals.  This is not my typical style but I think it turned out really cute.
