Stampin' Up Blended Seasons Take Two

Stampin Up Blended Seasons

Hello Crafty friends! I am back with another card featuring the Stampin' Up Blended Seasons Stamp set.  My background was inspired by the beautiful custom wood signs I see on Etsy.   While I love the white lettering and accents on the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, I must have color.  I started my card by stamping the "Thinking of You" sentiment from the Stampin' Up Rooted in Nature stamp set and the leaves from the Blended Seasons stamp set using Versamark on a piece of
Wood Textures Designer Series Paper then  heat embossed it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  I then mixed a little Whisper White Craft Stampin' Ink Refill with water and splattered a bit on my background.  I stamped the Blended Seasons leaves, a leaf from Rooted in nature and a leaf from Colorful Seasons in Night of Navy and fussy cut them. I colored the leaves with sponge daubers using Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Rich Razzleberry, Gorgeous Grape, Lovely Lipstick and Cajun Craze.  I LOVE all of the rich color! I layered my panel on a Rich Razzleberry card base and Lemon Lime Twist layer.  I added Stampin' Dimensionals to a few of the leaves for a little added dimension.  I added a few silver sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment as the finishing touch.

Stampin' Up Blended Seasons Challenge

Stampin Up Blended Seasons
Hello crafty friends!  My card today features the Stampin' Up Blended Seasons Stamp set. The floral stamp in this set is my favorite.  It is beautiful!  My goal today was to keep the card as simple as possible and I believe I succeeded.  I randomly stamped the floral stamp on a 4.25 x 5.5 whisper white panel.   I ended up with a really interesting angle that I liked.  On a  scrap piece of thick whisper white I stamped the full image then fussy cut it.  I used Stampin' Blends to color the fussy cut piece.  To add a little extra color to the background I splattered it with Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green ink and my Aqua Painter.  I popped up the fussy cut piece with some Stampin' Dimensionals.  I stamped the thank you sentiment from the Daisy Delight stamp set with Versamark Ink then heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  I love the pop of color on the simple background.

Stampin' Up Birthday Backgrounds

Stampin' Up Birthday Backgrounds
For my family summertime is full of birthdays.  I cannot get caught up on the number of birthday cards I need.  I seem to always be scrambling to make one at the last minute.   Today was no exception.  I needed something quick and easy.  I love the new Birthday Backgrounds stamp set and had not stamped with it yet.  I also love all of the new bright ink colors.  I really enjoy creating my own backgrounds so the Birthday Backgrounds stamp set and the new bright colors made it really easy.  I blended several different colors on watercolor paper then brushed over all of the colors with a damp watercolor brush.  Once the background dried I stamped the Confetti stamp all over it using Versamark ink then heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I love how vibrant it turned out.  The Wish die from the Broadway Lights Framelits Dies is fantastic!  It paired perfectly with the confetti stamped background.  I blended some of the colors on balloons punched from the Balloon Bouquet Punch then stamped them with the splatter stamp from the Magical Mermaid set and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.,  I finished off the balloons with Silver Baker’s Twine.  I also blended a few colors onto a piece of scrap paper stamped it with "Make A" sentiment from the Broadway Birthday stamp set then trimmed it into a little fishtail banner.  I layered everything on top of a frame I created using the square dies from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Stampin' Up Watercolored Stampin' Write Marker Background

Hello crafty friends!
Today I was inspired by the upcoming 4th of July holiday.  I needed to make a quick birthday card which is always a challenge for me.  I started by drawing lines across water color paper with a Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker then brushed over each line with an Aqua Painter.  I was not sure where I was going from there when I thought about the Happy Birthday Thinlits.  I love that die!  It fills a card front beautifully.  I added a few balloons and some stars for a little extra interest.  I was very happy with the result and it was super quick and easy.
