Stampin' Up Diagonal Stripes With the Stamparatus and a Little Birthday Wit

Hello, crafty friends!  My card today features the Stampin' Up Birthday Wit Stamp Set.  I love this set I think it is so funny.  I started the card by stamping the Stampin' Up Diagonal Stripe Stamp on the front of a top fold Whisper White Thick A2 card base.  The Stamparatus makes stamping backgrounds so quick and easy.  I was able to achieve a super crisp, deep black striped image by stamping the image 3 times with the Stamparatus.  I then stamped each line of words from the Birthday Wit stamp in different colors. After I finished stamping all of the lines I really wanted a little shine but the ink was too dry for adding clear embossing powder.  I had some clear tape sitting on my desk so I placed a piece of tape over each line before I fussy cut them.  It was perfect.  They had the nice shine you get when you use clear embossing powder.   I love when things work out like that don't you?

Stampin' Up Party Pandas Floating Slider Card

Hi, today I am sharing a floating slider card I made with the super cute Stampin' Up Party Pandas.

Stampin' Up Party Pandas Slider Card

I used the Floating Slider Tutorial from InsideoutJeans' YouTube channel.  She makes the cutest interactive cards and has some great tutorials.  Stampin' Up's Foam Adhesive Strips were perfect for this card and give just the right amount of lift to the frame.  Two strips side by side is the perfect width.  InsideoutJeans does not add any foam adhesive to the top of the card but I did and think it makes the card feel a bit more stable.  I meant to stamp the sentiment on the background layer but forgot.  I used black Stazon and stamped on top of the page protector piece.  The stamp slipped a bit but I did not mind the look, I actually ended up liking it😉 I really love how it turned out and cannot wait to send it to my niece for her birthday.  I think she will love it too.

Stampin' Up Springtime Foils & Large Letters Framelits

Stampin' Up Springtime Foils & Large Letters Framelits Dies

    Hello crafty friends!
My card today features the Stampin' Up Large Letters Framelits  & Sale-A-Bration Springtime Foils.  I love the Springtime Foils because they are so versatile.  They are beautiful just as they are and can be altered in so many ways.  I chose to use blender pens and several colors of Stampin' Pads to watercolor it.  I love to use  blender pens with Stampin' Pads.  The blender pens allow you to have more control over color and detail and they blend beautifully on this coated paper.  My original thought was to use the eclipse technique but fell in love with how the colored panel looked layered over the simple white and copper polka dot paper so, no eclipse here😄.

    Quick Tip

To easily add dimension to any die cut, especially a small one, glue your cardstock to craft foam before die cutting.  I run a piece of craft foam through the Big Shot first to force it to flatten out just a bit.  I then add a very thin layer of glue to the craft foam then add my cardstock.   Once the glue is dry you can die cut the layered piece with your die.  I used this technique to cut all of the "puffy" hearts for my card above..
